Movement & Mindfulness

If you feel as though you don't have time to look after yourself NOW is the time to start.  Pressing pause once in a while is good for the body and the mind.  Step off the merry-go-round of daily life to refocus and reenergise. ​

Take time out for movement and mindfulness and get into the habit of creating some space in your life that is just for you.  Find out what your body is capable of and clear your mind to realise your full potential.  


Where you start depends on your goals and experience however if you are new to exercise or haven't been active for a while, then it is important to start at Level 1 with the basics.  Once you have completed Level 1, the Level 2 courses can be completed in either order followed by Level 3 and Level 4.

Each course lasts 8 weeks and it's important to complete one course before moving on to the next.

Level 1 - Foundations 

This is the perfect place to start, especially if you have been sedentary for a while, have niggles or tightness in parts of your body or have been struggling with an old injury.

Focusing on locomotive movement and targeted mobility exercises to improve the flexibility and function of your joints. 

Yoga Class

Level 2 - Flexibility 

Tightness that restricts your movement will stop you from fully functioning in activities of daily life.  

Focusing on the correct technique and body position when stretching will train your muscles to allow the most effective deep stretch.  You will gain confidence in your body's ability to perform without restricted movement or pain.

Yoga Class

Level 2 - Control 

Building balance, agility and control will allow you to move your body with precision and skill in every situation without fear of pain or injury.

Focusing on a set of 24 targeted movements you will improve mobility, balance and muscle memory based on proprioceptive awareness of the position of your joints.

Yoga Practice

Level 3 - Strength  

Build strength and endurance for demanding physical activities and move with confidence and maximum range of movement.

Focusing on periodised training protocols of fundamental skills to develop strength, power and endurance.

Level 4 - Functional

Recruiting muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time emphasizes core stability and improves body awareness and movement skills that carry over into daily life.

Focused on HIIT circuits that get your whole body burning, you'll be a master of your movement and a more efficient human, inside and outside the gym.

We end every exercise session with Mindfulness... to enjoy a moment in the day to do nothing!  


During your Mindfulness practice you will be encouraged to pay attention to the present moment, your thoughts and feelings as well as sensations in your body.  With mindfulness practice, putting space between you and your reactions and breaking down your conditioned responses can positively change the way you see yourself, reduce stress and anxiety and increase enjoyment in the life you lead.

Each 1 hour session in the 8 week cycles includes;

  • 40-45 minutes of training skills and movement

  • 15-20 minutes of guided mindfulness practice
